Welcome to Lemon Delicious.

I run stamping and scrapbooking parties, workshops and classes showing you how to make fabulous projects using the products and tools from the incredible Stampin' Up! range - all of which you can purchase from me.

Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge #16

So the move is complete, we are living in Auckland, my Hamilton customers have new demonstrator's to look after them, the DH has started his new job, the kids have started playgroup and kindy....must be time to make a card! Either that or get a job, and I am so NOT going there just now!

When I saw Dawn McVey's latest challenge, I am not afraid to say that the yellow scared me but I thought I should give it a go, especially since my moving present to myself was a box of Papertrey Ink goodness and it has just arrived. And in my mind, a box a Papertrey goodies would not be complete without Dawn's very own Damask Designs stamp set.

So without further ado...here is the challenge:

And here is my card:

Materials (all SU! unless otherwise stated): Damask Designs Stampset (PTI), Very Vanilla, Kraft, Chocolate Chip and Summer Sun Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad, Scallop Edge Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Misc Yellow Ribbon.

Transmission Interrupted!

Hi there

We had an amazing time away in Rarotonga but were straight in at the deep end when we got back as we are now moving house. I have been busy getting the house ready for sale and packing everything up (stamps included!) in preparation for the move so the blog and papercrafting have been taking a back seat for a few weeks.

All going well though, everything about the blog should be back to normal in another month or two.

Happy stamping until then.

Playing Catchup

I found some time to get out in the Craft Room today. YAY!

It was nice to ink some stamps and play with cardstock and paper again after my recent foray into the digital world to discover some of the wonders of Photoshop Elements.

I didn't have time to make a card last week for the Sweet Sunday Challenge on Karen's blog, or the Inkspiration Colour Challenge #9 on Keesh's blog so I thought I would catch up now with this card for both challenges, even though they are both closed. Actually now that I look, I think this colour challenge is at least a couple of weeks old...boy time flies!

The colours for ICC #9 were Basic Grey Baja Breeze, Ruby Red and Whisper White. While the Sweet Sunday Sketch was this one:

Here is my card (and I really need to get an internet connection in the Craft Room so I stop doing these from memory cos clearly my memory, for card layouts anyway, is rubbish!)

Materials: Upsy Daisy Stamp set, Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red and Whisper White Cardstock, Baja Breeze and Basic Grey Classic Stampin' Pads, Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Cuttlebug and Standard Circle Nestibilities, Dimensionals.

And while doing a bit of net surfing, I found this card by Heather Nichols, one of the uber-talented designers at Papertrey Ink. Just had to give the technique a try. Here is my version.
Materials: Short & Sweet Stamp Set, Kraft Cardstock, Baja Breeze Patterns DSP, Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad, Mat Pack, Sahara Stand Stampin' Write Marker, Button Bouquet Designer Buttons, Five Petal Punch, Misc Choc Chip Coloured Ribbon & Buttons.

A New Toy!

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of PhotoShop Elements for my birthday and after looking all over the web for tutorials on how to do different things, I decided to take the plunge and pay to do an online course at http://www.jessicasprague.com

Totally worth every cent!

Still learning and practising but here are a couple of my bragging shots.

And here is a card I made. The left hand photo is straight out of the camera, the middle one is my 'old-style' edit and the one on the right is my new edit courtesy of Photoshop Elements and Jess. The card layout is from a sketch challenge on Karen Giron's blog.

Materials: Upsy Daisy Stamp set, Kraft, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad, Cropodile, Star Punch.
